The home of beer, cheese, and Harley Davidson, Wisconsin is a place that has piqued my interested for a long time. It’s packed with history, it’s full of interesting parks, beer breweries, and fun museums.
There are also tons of boutique hotels in Wisconsin. Whether it’s in downtown Milwaukee or out among the rivers and forests, there are some seriously beautiful places to escape to in this state. I can’t wait to get exploring.
Luxury Lodge in Green Bay
I don’t know much about the football team, but the cabins in Green Bay are utter luxury. Tundra Lodge is a getaway for both kids and adults. There’s an on-site waterpark, water playgrounds, swimming pools, and a 45-foot fireplace to relax by each night. There are restaurants, shopping centers, and museums nearby, as well as a gym and business center on the complex. If you’re here to enjoy the football, the Packer’s stadium is less than a 10 minute drive away. What more could you possibly need?
Modern Stay in Downtown Milwaukee
Aloft Milwaukee Downtown is a chic and modern hotel right in the center of Milwaukee. The rooms are full of natural light and big plush beds. There’s a bar and lounge, a fitness center, and indoor pool. It’s also a short walk to the Milwaukee River Walk. It’s a city I’ve always wanted to visit and Aloft seems like a great place to rest my head. It’s only $150 per night yet has all the amenities of a high-end hotel. It’s perfectly located for getting out and exploring the city on foot and only a short distance to the breweries and museums that make the city worth visiting.
Budget Stay in Wisconsin Dells
Wisconsin Dells is a city in Southern Wisconsin near stunning glacier-carved sandstone formations. I would love to take a boat ride down the Wisconsin River to have a look at these layered stone pillars up close. The Chula Vista Resort is well priced at less than $100, leaving plenty of budget to splurge on enjoying the surrounding area. The resort has its own waterpark and a stay here gives you complimentary access to the park. There is also a golf course, pool, and fitness center. I think the only struggle would be finding a reason to leave!
Splurging in Wisconsin Dells
If you’d rather splurge on a few nights in Wisconsin Dells, Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells is the place to do it. The resort has a waterpark, pool, gym, and arcade. If you want to do some more grown-up activities, there are four restaurants and a full service spa on-site as well as fireplaces in some of the suites. There’s a movie theater and adult entertainment center and the resort is a short drive to an outlet mall with over 60 designer shops.
Wisconsin is an exciting state with tons to see and do. I can’t wait to get over there and explore the excitement of the city and the natural beauty in the country.
